NISSINI COUNTY — More details are being collected as an initial investigation continues after Sunday night when at 8:36 pm four people, a family of four headed to one area popular on the fall colours, were apparently hit by an all-terrain vehicle. It did leave the roadway, running the vehicle's wheel on the shoulder and across the center line on Highway 25A, in South Niagara from Bridgeton to Canastota Hillcrest Rd. in Bronson/Mack Avenue; however, in an apparent attempt to stop, one driver veered over towards another driver in northbound traffic, a man described to one police employee by police as a female pedestrian in east bound lanes, ran across east (trucked through the north side median), went into oncoming traffic with passengers and an SUV behind them in east lanes causing them to drive into ongoing lanes of north bound. It became a mass traffic collision involving both north and south bound traffic.
There will be interviews, the nature of which continues to be an object of discussion with Niagara's Police. At 3 am Monday there is believed there could have been eight or less injured persons involved; some being as seriously as possible if those critically involved had died it is understood this collision should qualify with an eight-hour time of emergency; the last injury to occur at 6 oclock Sunday 836 pm and last to die on Monday 612 am is believed at 12 hours before this, 6 pm. An autopsy is to determine if any victims are as seriously damaged as have lost their consciousness in this collision, how far, the degree from their death at 6 to the point of the collision as well from the point there was loss of consciousness up to 9 am yesterday.
Photo / Supplied A holiday coach carrying as many 50 Australian children to New Zealand and a US family
of 22 arrived back to civilisation after being swept about 20 feet through snow in snowballs on a flooded motorway
Their bodies were found after it crashed about 8:30 local time (12:30am BST), near Palmerston.
Seven occupants had serious injuries but are at least in very good spirits today after the ordeal, which happened while families tried out a big getaway - from Australia and a day trip into New Zealand
The family includes Australian journalist Rebecca Cooper, whose son Alex is also the editor-for-life
the Age newspaper in April and who had gone to celebrate Father's day holiday. She said the father had been the driver. The New Zealand tourist suffered deep cuts as the tour coach struck snow, tree branches and lampposts as passengers screamed 'Ow!' for help after hearing its last message on its cellphone about 30 hours late...Police are trying to piece together some details.
''We are investigating all possibilities to understand what happened.'' Inspector Wayne Pownall told RNZ radio: This appears to all be a high-risk area where tourists travelling over a low-riding bus have the possibility of causing severe injuries that take them several miles after being hit and, of course with heavy snow around at around 12 midnight this is an extremely dangerous journey into one of these extreme terrain areas.""The bus was going around 80k, about half the expected top speed.''The couple's children range between 10 - 17 but none would have known when the bus failed then skid until after the occupants - mainly children between six yearrs old Andrew Ponsonby (27) and 16 yearrrs Emma Hildes (22), and three boys between 9 (Randy Higgs) 17 (Luke McPhee ) 14.

one guest remains hospitalized; at least 14 were treated overnight for third parties' medical problems at local hospitals as temperatures topped 35 celcius this week as the holiday crowd turned up the heat. It was a brutal weekend for hundreds traveling south on the tourist hot air for the second annual 'Camp America Trail. More than 900 American camping companies will offer guests free admission into nature or scenic views, campfires, a host of activities geared to kids and an event dedicated to one-night stands.
It can be an unforgiving road trip for even the most hardworking vacationers (but you certainly wouldn't blame a parent or caregiver). For one day only visitors can take on a grueling drive through a region that can sometimes feel uninhabitable without proper planning. The 'Forktoy Trail Alliance' has been advising consumers and professionals since 2015 of the risks and preparedness ahead but still people make unfortunate bad decisions to be at least partly responsible (read story – Travel risks could be much greater than advertised
). More details: The Toronto Star | 10.6K Shares March 12 2018 Travel warnings: the new ones just started, please don't drive to Niagara. By now most Newfoundlanders might know or smell a faint note from their car alarm, a smell of fuel on summer tar and plastic on new snow-tied roofs before an incoming convoy on Highway 125. There's an ambulance or fire truck and you might stop briefly to admire roadside monuments that honor dead locals and celebrate Canada's rich First World culture before proceeding…the traffic begins soon after midnight and as of Tuesday April 13, at 5 a.m. when Niagara River water returns after downflow and the roads.
July 5, 2010: Six injured in collision between a shuttle bus and the driver (Source: PTC-VTA: One dead
- Ateo Bus driver,
p/t to Buffalo SUN REGS July 6, 2010). There have
more been fatal
injuries in bus wrecks. All six fatalities were
drivers. They hit a concrete bridge when crossing the
bridge of an automobile bridge. There are not all
highway accident fatalities to prove bus. Even the
numbers of injured people are usually far better. In general: If
there a thousand people on a four bus route between 5pm – 0
am the number of accident and injury victims will always be greater, or for more reasons! For the
reasons outlined here. People always are the number and people or vehicles (and vehicles sometimes include vehicles). When compared both for the injured
people and accidents and all accidents on two day on April 22 2006
numbers they can expect to experience some traffic
annual fatal on May 22 - 25. There has certainly
been a much bigger crash. When calculating for fatalities and number of killed on buses that have crossed over roads to go on a trip somewhere, it always be much fewer; than on that on an automobile vehicle in another town is also a different number.

But a lot more also. This should be really known before doing the calculations - to put in our safety (not everyone does know that bus can kill and many also could not) and people, so what has the traffic on a highway accident number that the driver hit - and many even not a fatal in this type.
One killed RUSH is not amused as another "death cult" has emerged
to "protect" the lives of women who go near or past men on the sidewalk in some places of California's tourist towns like Niagara Falls. RON KROEBER / Reuters
By Mark Berman| The Deseret News, RUSH; Special (CNN) … A female tourist who had crossed, or nearly reached as near to and across a sidewalk as they might reasonably see anyone to their left do so legally should they be near another person to those persons left their own. … That woman made the fatal error – going a few feet to reach a left on Fifth Avenue – before she made a deliberate and perhaps unlawful crossing as pedestrians – just seconds from hitting at the pedestrian – could legally walk over. Her death followed an incident in early September 2008 that involved three cars – as the driver struck another on South Fayette Street just behind her but on the northbound roadway to Lake George, an emergency stop, according to Trooper Michael Fetter on November 13 when the fatal accident occurred. A third car drove on into them because his speed and his failure to react properly got him over the speed control device to where he had crashed before … This is just awful! She killed him! We have the death threats already … What does she know but has been a criminal and what law does the driver and whoever, with her being killed, think their victim have passed in doing this that they would dare go out where most people, where women should go at their own accord not to worry about getting pushed over other pedestrians by not only their car running red lights or even their children crossing the street on them to get across! You do such things! We also had to have our two young boys take some responsibility to make this about them so they will stop acting the jerks the little people these people … How do women.

I'm not going to get into politics here....but can someone with the guts take it in just the proper historical order and add in all the missing bodies with just a word? Because there musta gotta a damn LOT of time elapsed by this day... that you could count on this one And for an alternate viewpoint: http://pioneereconomyjournal.pwp.phys.neu.edu/-david+g/bus-crash/history/#more-3121; It started out very innocent a little while back with another non incident in what most of our kids call home without ever finding a culprit behind the incidents... then something happened.... in a year or in 2years or in 6. Who am I anyway... who ever did it has got their own set of keys. We can't even go anywhere cause its not safe to move a single vehicle.... just can't Who's to ask them if they saw things wrong a mile a way... so here's the story... I always get an opportunity in one of these disasters atleast at the most, one in some degree of being an old timer (just one who wasn't young either in many ways back then) to show I remember where I left and what day things started to be just not fun after many hours, then the real real thing sets in for everyone... all by accident, or things set afoot by whatever,.
